Story
Hi everyone!
I started running at the start of the year, building up from a couple of minutes running to over 2 hours this weekend (22 Nov). My first event was the 5km Run Devonport in March, which I convinced my mum to do with me and completed in about 27:46 (was aiming for under 30 min). Then I did the 11km City to Casino run in May, finishing in 57:38 - much faster than I expected. My running died off for a while in winter, but since September I've been trainig for the Sussan half-marathon in Melbourne on 7 December. Along the way I finished the Burnie 10 in October in 56:45.
The Sussan run is raising money for the Breast Cancer Network Australia - it would be great if you could dontate something to them and help give me some motivation for my run. It would be nice to complete it in under 2 hours - but a little bit longer would be ok.
